Covid19 – Corona virus information page

At this difficult time for everyone, we are trying to balance Government directions on staying at home and avoiding unnecessary social contact with the need to look after our horses and ponies properly and use the outdoor activity we love as a way of staying fit and healthy.

Here at Curre PC we’re busy working on ways of giving our members access to a range of inter-active activities and info.  Let’s all use this time at home to keep on learning and training ready for when we can get out and about again!  This will include:

INFORMATION    On current advice and contact details for our regular coaches who will be available to give tips and training ideas if you get in touch.

LEARNING   Including test training worksheets, ideas for riding exercises, chances to gain some Pony Club badges, sending in videos of you doing practical care tasks for feedback.

COMPETING   The Pony Club are liaising with BD Dressage Anywhere to offer competition dressage at all levels from Intro upwards and even a Dressage Championships!  Horse Events are also giving riders the chance to do Virtual Show Jumping and Virtual Challenges via video.  Look out on for tips for Curre PC members on how to take videos of yourself and access these competition opportunities!

We’ll be in touch with members by email and Facebook as we get this under-way.   Meanwhile…

MEMBERS!  Now , more than ever, is the time to put into practice all you have learnt at Pony Club about handling and riding your horses and ponies SAFELY.

We don’t want any accidents!!

For up-to-date guidance on horse welfare during the virus lockdown, see   Remember your vet and farrier can still come out.  You can still visit your feed store for supplies or ask them to deliver – but it is important you make a plan now for your horse/pony’s care if your home has to self-isolate.
