Dalkeith & District Branch

Joining or renewing your membership

Pony Club membership is now an annual membership, running for a year from the day that you join or renew your membership.  The cost is £80/year for individuals, family membership is capped at £200/year, non-riding membership is £36/year (note, no increase from last year).

We’ve just migrated to a new system for joining and renewing, please contact us on dalkeith@pcuk.org if you’re interested in becoming a member.  Once you’ve decided to join, all Pony Club memberships and renewals are made directly with The Pony Club Office at Stoneleigh.

If you are joining D&D for the first time please use this link and then fill out the online membership application form:

You need to click the ‘Create New Account’ button.

At renewal, the parents/guardians of individual members will receive 2 emails with details of how to renew via the new online portal.

  • The first contains the renewal reminder and membership details.
  • The second contains a custom link to the portal.  When you click this link you will be asked to enter a password.
  • This is a new online portal so create a new password.
  • You will then be asked to login with your username (the email address to which the renewal reminder was sent) and your newly created password.

Using the online portal, you will be able to check and update any contact details, and members and pay online.

You will not be able to change the branch or membership type (Riding or Non-riding) – if you need to do this please contact your branch to initiate the transfer process or contact membership@pcuk.org to change your membership type.

Memberships will be for a 12-month period from the date of expiry.

If you have a family membership, or want to add members to create a family membership, to renew or join for the first time you will need to email to membership@pcuk.org.

Whether you’re joining for the first time or renewing your membership, you and your parent/guardian will also need to fill in the code of conduct of forms which you can download here:

Role of Parents and Guardians Code of Conduct Sign

Role of Members -Code of Conduct Sign

Please email the code of conduct forms to Yvonne Langley (our Membership Secretary) at dalkeith@pcuk.org.

If you’re joining Pony Club for the first time, you’ll also need a Pony Club tie, badge and sweatshirt and a Manual of Horsemanship.

New Pony Club merchandise can now be bought from the The Pony Club Shop at Harry Hall: https://harryhall.com/ponyclubshop.

You can buy a range of Dalkeith & District clothing (covering useful items not available from the Pony Club shop) including jackets (softshell or waterproof), cross country base layers (these are our Team colours, all members can wear them), polos (white or navy), sweatshirts (without hood so suitable for riding in), track pants etc at https://www.fpuniformz.com/clubs/dalkieth-pony-club.html

They’re all good quality items and the prices are very reasonable.  Please ask for guidance on sizes as they seem to be coming up quite big.

We often have some second hand sweatshirts and jackets available (in good condition) through the Branch tack and clothing swap or sale shop, and we also have a few new sweatshirts and jackets in large and small sizes, so please ask if you’re interested.
