Our Branch is led by our District Commissioner helped by our Committee. The committee is made up of volunteers who are parents, relatives and friends of our members. We have a fantastic team who dedicate an enormous amount of their time to making everything happen in the branch. We are extremely grateful for all they do and for all the help we receive from parents.<\/p>\n

Mandy Stephens<\/h3>\r\n <\/div>\r\n
\r\n District Commissioner <\/div>\r\n
\r\n Mandy is responsible for the overall running of Dartmoor branch. She attends area meetings and training when required as well as making sure that Dartmoor are up to date with training and regulations passed down from Head Office. She is also the main cheerleader whenever our members are out competing or at rallies and other sessions and can often be seen from the early hours on competition days through to being one of the last to leave! <\/div>\r\n

Amanda Kemsley<\/h3>\r\n <\/div>\r\n
\r\n Branch Secretary, Event Organiser, Health and Safety Officer <\/div>\r\n
\r\n Amanda (with a team of secret elves), helps organise and publish events, both mounted and unmounted and sends out correspondence to members, trainers and other clubs and venues. Amanda also ensures that all H&S Risk assessments, training and documentation are not only up-to-date but also adhered to. <\/div>\r\n

\r\n Amy has stepped into the role of Treasurer here at Dartmoor looking after branch accounts and providing the annual treasurers report as well as submitting the financial statement to Head Office at the end of the financial year. Welcome Amy! <\/div>\r\n

\r\n Tracey is our branch safeguarding officer. She is responsible for managing concerns about children and young people, and for creating and maintaining safeguarding procedures. She is also responsible for ensuring all our coaches, volunteers and committee members are up to date with both DBS and Safeguarding checks. <\/div>\r\n

\r\n Tam is our chief instructor here at Dartmoor. She is a BHS Accredited Coach & UKCC Level 2 show jump coach. Tam provides invaluable training and advice as well as having the responsibility of organising teams for Area and Regional competitions. <\/div>\r\n

\r\n Amy Stephens is our Junior committee leader but also is lead trainer and coordinator for badges and tests. Amy is also normally seen at most of our Pony Club events providing support through warm ups, course walking and general nerve calming!!! <\/div>\r\n

\r\n Hey, I\u2019m Poppy. I\u2019m a BHS Stage 2 Coach working towards my Stage 3 coach. I\u2019ve been a member of the pony club since the age of 3 and have loved every minute of it. Outside of pony club I have been long listed for the junior dressage Europeans and was part of the GB eventing pony development squad. I\u2019m now at university where I have started to learn to play polo whilst also currently competing my horse at BE100 and CCI-1*. <\/div>\r\n

\r\n Hi, I\u2019m Lizzy. I am an Accredited BHS Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship. I have great memories growing up as a member of the Dartmoor Pony Club so it is lovely to be able to teach the members and still be involved with the club. I teach all ages and abilities, and love to help people progress with their riding whilst having fun with their horses. I also enjoy working with young horses, helping to give them a good start in their ridden career. I attend regular training and competitions and I\u2019m hoping to get out more this summer! <\/div>\r\n
