The Equestrian Youth Organisation

Deeside Pony Club was established in 1977 and is part of Pony Club Area 1.

Our members, aged between 4 and 23 come from across Aberdeenshire, from the City of Aberdeen west to Ballater and Alford, are active in Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing and Tetrathlon/Triathlon with some competing at a very high level.

We are very fortunate to have our field in Dinnet Estate where we have our own Cross Country fences, and to have access to fabulous training facilities and instructors that allow us to hold regular training throughout the year including:

Indoor/Outdoor training at Aberdeen Riding Club, Nether Anguston, Peterculter and Aberdeen.  Indoor training at World Horse Welfare, Belwade Farm, Dess, Aboyne and outdoor training at our location within the Dinnet & Kinord Estate, Aboyne.

We are a very friendly Branch and every Member has the same thing in common – a shared passion for ponies!  Our Members encourage and support each other along their individual horsemanship journey…while having lots of fun and making friends for life!
