Winter Triathlon Final

Rory competed at the Pony Club winter Tri finals in Lincolnshire. He was there representing EAPC as an individual but was also on the Area 1 team (along with 2 members of Bennachie and 1 member from Angus- great representation from NE Scotland!).

Rory did a brilliant shoot (920) and gave his absolute all in the run with a blistering 3min 34 over 1km. This put him in 2nd= place with Tristan from Bennachie. With only an hour gap, Rory didn’t have much left in the tank for the swim but still swam a respectable 4L 14m, not quite getting the hat-trick of PBs. He finished in 4th place (out of 45 mini boys) on a score of 2965, just 3 points off a podium place (that’s only 1 second on the track or 1m in the pool ). He picked up an additional 4th rosette as part of the area 1 mixed team.
