Regional Champs 2025
Eventing at the regional champs. We only had a team in the 80 – Fee, Leonie and Amelia and the day started sunny. We walked the course early which promised to be influential . Fee’s dressage judge was very harsh while Amelia’s was very nice. The SJ was went well with clears for Leonie and Fee and a pole for Amelia. Leonie went first XC and it was really bucketing with rain and I don’t think Bailey saw the water at the fence in until the last moment so his very sudden stop unfortunately pitched Leonie out the side to land on her feet. Fee want next and did a lovely clear with just 0.8 of a fault for going too fast. Amelia and Bailey also had a great round but with a stop at the arrowhead after a big step up but Amelia represented very fast and only had 4 time penalties at the end. So we didn’t come anywhere but Fee gradually went up through the day from 19th after dressage to finish 6th. An excellent result. Well done all and thanks to wet parents for the long weekend.

We had a lovely 1st day at the Regional Champs. We started with the 70 SJ team of Bel, Georgina, Alexa and Jasmine who didn’t have a great start and the team was eliminated which meant that Alexa and Roly who did a lovely clear weren’t able to do the Jump Off but Charlotte who was an individual did a great 2x C and ended 6th. In the dressage they all did nice tests but we weren’t placed at all but Jasmine came 9th in her section. The 80SJ team of Fee, Charlotte, Amelia and Bella all jumped well and we ended up 4th with Fee doing a lovely 2xC ending 11th overall. So a great day and thanks to all the parents for feeding me and carting kids all this way…
