Regional Champs 2026
We’ve had a rather wet but excellent day at the 1st day of the Regional Champs. We started with the 70 Foundation Dressage with the team of Bella, Bella, and Georgina. They all did nice tests but Bella P finished 7th in her section. In the 80 Grassroots team of Leonie, Eleanor, Amelia and Edie came 8th with Eleanor coming 5th in her section, Amelia came 12th, Bella P was an individual and came 14th and the team came 8th.
In the 70 SJ Bel was in an area 8 team which came 10th and in the 80 SJ after a lot of rain the team of Amelia, Leonie, Charlotte and Fee came 4th with Amelia and Fee getting into the 3rd Round JO. Amelia did a 3rd C and ended up 10th and Fee fighting hard for a 3rd fast C unfortunately had the last down so she ended up 14th.
So a good day. It would be good if it it didn’t rain tomorrow which is eventing.
Day 2 of the Regional Champs at Aston Le Walls – eventing day.
Firstly it wasn’t raining so that helped us all. Bel and Georgina were in the 70 class in an area 8 team and they did brilliantly coming 9th. Bel did a fantastic 2xC and ended up 7th and Georgina did a lovely clear SJ and had 2 stops on the XC at the fences that she was worried about but determindly clearing both on the the 2nd attempt. Thank you Sally for looking after them so well.
In the 80 we had 2 individuals Amelia and Leonie. Amelia did a lovely dressage and followed that with a 2xC finishing 3rd which was brilliant. Leonie also did a nice dressage and C SJ but very sadly for her, parted company with Bailey at fence 4 so we were all devastated for her. But both are fine.
FYI Amelia was in the ribbons in all her classes – sat dressage and SJ and today so a brilliant effort. Bryn deserves a rest tomorrow.
Well done all and thanks to parents for making it such a special weekend for our members.
