Eventing<\/strong> gives Pony Club Members a competition which needs courage, determination and all-round riding ability combined with the careful and systematic training of the horse. It involves working with your pony\/horse both on the flat and over jumps.<\/p>\n

Eventing is split into three phases: Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country.<\/p>\n

In winter months there are Arena Eventing competitions which consist of jumping a course of show jumps immediately followed by a course of cross country style and rustic fences (some fixed). Part of the course will usually be timed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/section>\r\n\n\n\r\n

There are different competition levels within The Pony Club:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

PC70<\/strong>
\nIntroduction to Dressage Test 2019, Show Jumping approx 70cm, Cross Country 60cm<\/p>\n

PC80<\/strong>
\nGrassroots Test 2018, Show Jumping approx 85cm, Cross Country 80cm<\/p>\n

PC90<\/strong>
\nPC90 Eventing Test 2013, Show Jumping approx 95cm, Cross Country 90cm<\/p>\n

PC100<\/strong>
\nPC100 Eventing Test 2015, Show Jumping approx 1.05m, Cross Country 1.00m<\/p>\n

PC110<\/strong>
\nPC110 Eventing Test 2010, Show Jumping approx 1.15m, Cross Country 1.10m<\/p>\n

There are also events for younger members at 50cm and 60cm.<\/p>\n
