1. We will award prizes for the ODE and both disciplines, meaning if entered in the ODE you will have opportunity of being placed in three classes <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

2. Prize giving for individual classes will take place at scheduled times, overall positions will be posted post event <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

3. We will award trophies for the highest placed junior and senior Eglinton Hunt Pony Club members overall in the ODE discipline <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

4. We will award an overall Eglinton Pony Club \u201ctack and turnout\u201d award this will be judged across the following three areas <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Dressage \u2013 Dressage attire <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Jumping section \u2013 XC colours <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Prize giving \u2013 Present in either of the above including hat, hair net and boots <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

5. JUNIOR: Any Member aged 11 and under<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

6. SENIOR: Any Member aged 12 or over <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

7. Vehicle Safety<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Speed limit on venue is 10mph.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

8. Horse & Handler Safety<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Horses that kick must wear a red ribbon in their tail.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

No horses may be tied outside vehicles at any time.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Horses must only be ridden when fully tacked as per tack and PCUK equipment policy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Pedestrians and handlers must avoid walking behind horses.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

\u201cLoose horse\u201d must be shouted loudly, and all gates secured immediately.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

PCUK biosecurity rules apply at all events, please carry passport and vaccination details as we reserve the right to spot check<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Each owner is responsible for picking up after their pony<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

9. Health and Safety<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Your nominated Health and Safety Lead is the Judge, please raise any hazards, near miss, accidents, illness or incident to them in the first instance. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

A Risk Assessment has been carried out. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

10. First Aid & Emergency Procedures<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

First Aid coverage will be available at all times with a ratio relative to attendees assessed at 1-10.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

First Aid kits will be available at all times including one equine and their location is in the Judges box.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

11. Insurance<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
