There are many Branch, Area and National competitions that you can take part in, across all the disciplines offered by the Pony Club.\u00a0 Being a smaller branch, Enfield Chace has greater opportunities to be part of a team.\u00a0 There is so much enjoyment from participating in team events, with creating great memories and life long friendships.<\/p>\n

To find out what national competitions are available, you can go to the of the Main Pony Club web site:<\/p>\n

Within Area 8 we have the following regular team competitions, but there are lots of opportunities to represent the branch in Show jumping, Mounted Games, Dressage, Eventing, Pony racing, Tetrathlon, as well as lots of unmounted activities.\u00a0 Please speak to a member of the committee to find out more.<\/p>\n

For inter branch competitions selection is made by the team manager from those interested, available and capable of competing at the relevant level.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

For Area Team selection, the following criteria apply:-<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Members must be active in the branch and attend at least 3 rallies. Attendance at camp is also desirable.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Teams will be chosen by the Team Manager in consultation with the D.C.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Training will be given prior to Area competitions<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Members representing the branch must be competent and able to ride safely at the standard requested.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

It is a privilege to be chosen to represent your branch and members should show commitment and respect to the instructors, team managers and other team members. At a team competition, it is important that members and parents are supportive to all in the teams through good and bad days. It is also very important at all events and competitions, that members demonstrate compliance with our code of conduct and social licensing rules.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\r\n\r\n
