*NEW SPURS RULE FROM 01.01.25*

To promote the welfare of horses and ponies, whilst educating riders, The Pony Club are introducting a new Spurs Rule, effective from 01.01.25.  No Member will be permitted to wear Spurs, unless they have passed their C+ test, or have been nominated by the DC and assessed by a B Test Instructor, and passsed the new Spurs Achievement Badge. If you have not passed your C+ and would like to use spurs, please let us know ASAP, as you will need to be approved to attend an Area 11 Spurs Rally, prior to taking the new Spurs Acheivement Badge.   Once you have passed, spurs must be blunt and no longer than 2cm, and whenever wearing spurs you will not be permitted to use a strong bit.
