Rally Information

  • The following is the correct dress: Beige or black jodhpurs, yellow sweatshirts/polo shirts, white shirt, plain gloves, PC tie, hairnets for girls, no ear-rings or jewellery, correct riding hat and body protector (where appropriate).
  • Only brown or black standard riding or jodhpur boots with a fairly smooth thin sole and a well-defined square cut heel may be worn – no interlocking soles. If wearing half chaps they should be the same colour as your jodhpur boots and without tassels. If you are on a horse you can wear long boots and it is then appropriate to wear a hunting tie (stock). No wellington boots, muckers or trainers, other than for stable management.
  • Your tack should be supple and clean. Neck straps to be worn by all ponies at rallies for members aged 10 years or under.
  • Please make sure your Rally Card is signed at every rally you attend.
  • Rally times will be posted on the website well in advance of the date of the rally.
  • Sarah Davies has the sweatshirts, ties and badges.
  • Passports/vaccinations – all ponies and horses must have up to date (within 12 months) to attend all events and rallies. Please note that some venues require 6 monthly vaccinations but organisers will make you aware if required. Horses and ponies must have 7 days clear between date of vaccination and attendance at an event/rally. Please remember to bring your passport as random checks may be made.
