  1. ONLY ONE  helper is allowed with your rider or riders.  One parent can bring two of their own children but not anyone else’s child or pony. If you are a family with more than one member participating and your children are in different sessions please could the PC member who is not riding wait in or beside the car/lorry until it is time for them to get their pony tacked up. No extra people or children are allowed at the venue and please don’t let your child wander around the venue.

  1. STRICTLY NO DOGS ALLOWED

ARRIVING, LEAVING AND WHILST YOU ARE AT THE VENUE

  1. Please aim to arrive approximately 15 minutes before your session so that we can minimise the overlap of participants. Please do not arrive earlier. Specific instructions for each venue will be sent, if required.

  1. Before you touch any gates or keypads you must sanitise your hands and then again afterwards.

  1. Please allow 3 horse lengths in between vehicles. At some venues parking will be marked, at others please comply with this rule.

  1. Please be tacked up and ready to go at your allotted time with girths tightened and stirrups at the correct length for the activity. The lessons will run strictly to time so if you are late you will miss out on part of your tuition. We recommend that you wear Body protectors.

  1. Only instructors or the PC Steward will touch the gate to the arena and all equipment within it (poles, poo picker, jump stands). They will also be social distancing so please respect the 2m rule. Please be assured that in the event of an emergency First Aid will immediately be given.

  1. At the end of your session please, load and LEAVE promptly afterwards please don’t stop to chat, and take all droppings with you please. (Please bring your own poo picker as you must not borrow someone else’s)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR WAITING PARENTS

As parents are not part of the group of 6 that we are allowed, we need you to watch from a distance, beside your lorries and trailers and not alongside the arena and bring your own chair, sit 2m apart from others at all times. We must not be seen as groups of more than 6 together.

SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES APPLY AT ALL TIMES – STAY 2m APART

FLU VACCINATIONS

All your ponies need to be up to date with their Flu and Tet vaccinations. Most of our venues ask for annual vaccinations, however some may ask for 6 monthly vaccinations.

In order to come to PC rallies, when we restart, Georgie needs to see an update of your vaccinations. If you have a NEW pony that Georgie hasn’t seen the vaccination card for, Georgie will need to see the vaccinations from the start or the point that a primary course may have restarted. If you have gone over the time limit for the annual booster please check with your vet as you may need to restart the primary course.

If Georgie has seen the passport previously Georgie will only need to see the latest vaccination(s).

Before you attend a rally please send Georgie a WhatsApp of your vaccinations page or pages to 07740 858588.

Georgie will only need to see it once, before your first rally and when you have a new vaccination.

Things to Remember

  • Only attend a rally if you and your child are healthy and you are not in quarantine due to another household member having symptoms of Covid-19
  • Check you flu vaccinations are up to date.
  • It is vital that social distancing of 2 metres is observed at all times
  • When travelling to a training session you must only be with a member of your household in an enclosed space.
  • Upon arrival to a training session think about where you are parking and the proximity to others when moving around your vehicle with and without your horse.
  • Please do not greet other members closer than 2 metres and do not congregate in groups larger than those allowed – currently 6
  • If spectating because your child is being taught you will be included in the ‘gathering’ number if you are within the perimeter of the ridden arena, or similar space within a field. Observe the appropriate distance to ensure the safety of the coach, riders, and other spectators.
  • Please abide by all venue rules, they have specific policies and procedures in place to ensure everyone’s safety, please follow these.
