Area and Regional Dressage Qualifiers 2025

This weekend 6 of our members attended the Grassroots and Area Dressage qualifiers at Ickworth Park kindly hosted by Suffolk Hunt Pony Club. Thankfully the day started off with a little cloud and not as high temperatures as predicated. Our incredibly smartly turned-out members rose to the occasion with all of them being in the placings.

In the 80 Grassroots qualifier we were represented by Hallie Milton who gained a podium position of 3rd Individually, qualifying her and Hilliam the Haribo for the Championships in August at Aston le Walls.

Our Novice Dressage Team also gaining a Team 3rd podium position, team members were Isobel Hinde (Individually 10th), Isabella Rivett on her relatively new combination, Emilia Rivett (Individually 3rd) and Jemima Rutland (Individually 5th) also qualifying the team for the National Championships in August.

Onto our Intermediate Team of Molly Nichols, Isabelle Rivett, Emilia Rivett and Isobel Hinde, keeping up with the pattern above also gained a Team Podium position of 3rd, with individual placings for Molly (2nd), Emilia (4th), and Isobel (7th) and also qualifying the team for the National Championships.

To enable more teams to go the championships Area 8 put together mixed teams where maybe a branch does not have enough members for a team, Molly was put in an Open dressage team again finishing podium position of 3rd, and winning the open overall on her lovely horse Midsummer Picnic, qualifying her for the Nationals Championships in August.
