Area and Regional Eventing Qualifiers 2024

On the weekend of the 6th and 7th of July Soham and District PC hosted the Area 8 Team and Individual Qualifiers for the Pony Club National Championships PC90 PC100, PC Chairman’s Cup and Regional Eventing Championships PC80. Thankfully the weather was better than the forecast and a good day was had by all!

Essex and Suffolk put forward one 80 Regional team of Grace Hotham, Charlie Parr, Harry Tier and Olivia Pallister and 2 individuals Isabella Rivett and Ameila Anley.

Our 80-team finished 7th and qualified the team for the Regional Championships. Well done to Grace placed 2nd individually in her arena and Harry 6th in his arena.

Isabella won best dressage in her arena with a fabulous score of 25.

We had a team of 3 for the 90 Area qualifier of Sophie Feeney, Ben Nichols and Matthew Caley, no pressure but with no score to drop all 3 completed all phases gaining a team result of 8th and Matthew Individually placed 10th in his arena and qualifying him for the National Championships in August.

Only one individual in the 100 Area Qualifier, Molly Nichols, who was put into a mixed Area 8 team gaining a podium finish of 3rd place, and individually placed 8th in her arena.
