Quizzers flying the flag at 2024 Finals!

A huge well done to Tatiana, Ivy, Sonny and Tallulah for flying the flag for Essex and Suffolk Pony Club at the 2024 Quiz Finals – it has been a good while since our members have taken part in this competition which is great to see and fingers crossed we can see more members in the future taking on the challenge! Our E&S Mini Quiz team – Tatiana Hotham, Ivy Page-Baker, Sonny and Tallulah Northover-Dodd – travelled 3 hours (with an overnight stay) up to Sheffield Wednesday Football Stadium (Hillsborough) for the 2024 Quiz Finals.

We were a little bit outclassed by professional quizzers. It was the same names in the top 10 for the last couple of years. Unfortunately we missed some easy points that without the pressure wouldn’t have happened. Some nerves and stage fright did impede performances, but what a fabulous time, so lucky to be able to have experienced the final and at such a great venue. For first timers at the qualifier AND the finals we’ve come away knowledgeable, picked up top tips and ‘some’ of us can’t wait for next year (and maybe a podium finish 😂)
