Looking forward to a really great Easter Rally, lots of fun and games

Halloween Rally

Great Halloween rally today, Thanks to our instructors Katie, Nancy , and Annette , who all taught fab x country or x country techniques lessons, the weather was very kind to us and the pill box, with a little work was transformed into a spooky bat/ spider cave complete with a hanging body, sculls and a couple of giant spiders, they had some fab slime to sick their hands into, sheeps eyes (lychees and jam) to eat, and some great traditional Halloween games, Lovely hot dogs thanks Alan!! And loads and loads of cake and sweets!! Thanks to Alan, Yasmin and Sally Bridge, and Sam Argent for all their help today

New Web Site

Members and friends of Essex Union,

Over the past few weeks we have been working on updating and re-vamping the EUHPC web site. The changes are currently filtering through the Interweb and some people are already seeing the fruits of our labour and are able to see the new look and feel.

The web site address will continue to be www.euhpc.org for the foreseeable future, but may change in months to come.

The main changes are that we have moved to the main Pony Club format, which the majority of Branches are now doing, enabling us to share information between Branches and more importantly offer our members the ability to book and pay for rallies and some events on-line, all using the secure payment facilities of PayPal.

This allows us to move away from paper based / postal entries, requiring cheques or BACS transfers to a completely electronic system providing e-Mail confirmations once you have entered a rally and enabling us as a committee to accurately record rallies to see which are well attended and therefore provide more of the same.

This also allows us to support Pony Club’s intention to move to doing everything on-line, including membership renewals from later this year.

We hope our members will like the new look and feel, once they have become acquainted will it, and that they will see the benefits.

We will continue to publish the good things our members are doing on FaceBook and any important news we feel you should be made aware of, along with creating FaceBook events for the various rallies and events, with the intention to link the FaceBook event directly to the on-line booking system.

If you have any queries about the web site, suggestions for improvement or find something wrong, then please message us on FaceBook, e-Mail essexunion@gmail.com or justin@rose-horne.co.uk and we will have a look.

Regards,

Essex Union Pony Club Committee
