Report for Meeting 14/01/26
Our rally and training programme is continuing successfully. We have included some different venues to give members more choice. The weather hasn’t always played ball and some have been poorly attended but on the whole it’s working well. A huge thank you to Pip for all she does for our show jumpers as well as dressage and to Tricia Price, eventing; LizzieRobinson, Anna Koch and Karen Gow minis. Thanks also to Fi Baylis for all her hard work organising the Minis.
Competitions
Our only competition in the last quarter was the Christmas Show, held once again at Barnwell Wold, thanks to the generosity of the Wagstaffe family. Anna Grace was thankfully available to be back at the helm this year and her warm and cheerful presence and excellent organisation ensured that it was a wonderful happy and festive event. All the children went home with rosettes and sweets galore! Many thanks to Anna and all who helped, particularly Fi Baylis who was doubling up as entries secretary and refreshments provider!
Hunting
An autumn hunting PC Meet was held on 31st October at Barnwell Wold. Attendance was good and the children out were all a credit to our Branch. They all had an enjoyable morning, Many thanks to the Wagstaffes for hosting and to the Masters for putting on these Meets which our members so enjoy and which, for some, are their first introduction to a lifelong love of hunting. Sadly The New Year Meet had to be cancelled due to the frost.
