I grew up as a pony-mad girl in Sussex and joined the Chiddingfold Pony Club when I got my first pony aged 11. Over the years I represented the branch in all Area disciplines, attended camps and did the Pony Club tests, including A test.
Eventually I decided to follow my dream of riding at Badminton and Burghley, and spent time training with Lars Sederholm and Yogi Breisner at Waterstock House in Oxfordshire, before setting up my own livery and competition yard in Sussex. I was also heavily involved in teaching all ages at Pony Club and training the event team.
In 2001, I moved to Bedfordshire and realised my dream when I went clear round Burghley on a horse I had produced from a four-year-old, and then completed Badminton in 2005 three months after my second daughter Anna was born!
Both my girls, Lucy and Anna, joined the Fitzwilliam Pony Club and enjoyed camps, competing and making lots of friends.
I now run a small livery/competition yard, with Anna now enjoying success in eventing, having been a member of the British Junior team last year.
I am a UKCC Level 3 accredited coach specialising in eventing. I enjoy helping all ages and abilities fulfil their potential and hope to send away happy, confident riders. Horses and ponies are wonderful animals and I am passionate about correct training, safety and most of all having fun with them.
