Triathlon Success

What a brilliant day for team Fitz at not one but two triathlons!!

Area 11 Winter Triathlon Qualifiers

Lana travelled to area 11 and came 1st which means she’s qualified for the triathlon championships which is a super result. Well done Lana from your Fitz family

North Shropshire Hunt Triathlon

Charlie, Edward and Annie travelled to Area 7 and competed at the North Shropshire Hunt Triathlon. Another really successful day with the fitz flag flying very high. Little Annie was very consistent in every discipline which proved to be a very good tactic today as she came home in 4th place. Annie was only 39 points from 3rd place so as you can see it was a close competition.

Charlie shot amazingly well on turning targets which is all new to him. He ran and swam really well but was pipped to 6th by less than 100 points. His class was huge too so 7th place is amazing 🤩

Edward ran a super run and shot really well. He won his class by 81 points, 3rd place was over 300 points behind. Edward also won the best shot medal and the over 900 club sticker for shooting.

The North Shropshire Hunt pc put our three members together in a team and they came a respectable 17th out of 47 teams 😳 they were 1000 points behind the winning team.

In all it’s safe to say Team Fitz left their mark at the triathlon today!! There is another tri at the Wrekin in November and it would be wonderful to see more from team Fitz supporting. We all went up the night before and made it a bit of a social.

Well done to everyone representing your club this weekend. We might have been small in numbers but we were very mighty 💪
