Coach: Pip King
Hello, my name is Philippa King (Pip). I am a UKCC Level 2 accredited coach and teach show jumping for the Fitzwilliam pony club. I am a former member of the Fitzwilliam and have many happy memories growing up at camp, rallies and taking part in the team competitions. I represented the club at the National Championships in all three phases, but these days focus on dressage, show jumping and working hunter.
I have produced my own horses from youngsters up to Foxhunter level in show jumping and Medium level in dressage. In addition, I’ve competed at the Royal International and Horse Of the Year Show, coming third in the intermediate working hunter at HOYS in 2023.
I am a firm believer that confidence is key, and therefore make sure that I encourage everyone I teach to have the foundations instilled to progress to jumping courses. I’d be happy to see you all at some of the training sessions we offer, and I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.
