We endeavour to run all rallies and training at prices to break even and they are often subsidised from branch funds. Prices reflect venue hire, coaching fees and how many members are taking part in each session. For Juniors and above we try to keep groups to a maximum of four for a one-hour session. Please view our upcoming training sessions on Horse Events or navigate to them on the calendar.
As well as mini training and rallies we offer discipline training – more details are on the individual pages.
Pip is a UKCC level 2 accredited coach and not only does she teach show jumping for the Fitzwilliam pony club but she is responsible for co-ordinating all the branch training and rallies.
As a former member of the Fitzwilliam pony club she has many happy memories growing up at camp, rallies and taking part in the team competitions. Therefore she knows what it is to be a member and takes the task of organising the training very seriously to help produce confident jockeys that take pride in their ponies, themselves and the Fitzwilliam.
Head over to the Show Jumping page to read the full biography (and see a picture of Pip competing whilst in the Fitz!)

Although it is no longer necessary for members to pass Riding & Road Safety Achievement Badge and Mini Badge at appropriate levels before being able to complete Tests. Riding sessions include polework, dressage, show jumping and cross country, together with information on the rules and dress code for these disciplines, with the emphasis on fun! Members can work towards Pony Club badges and Progressive Pony Club Awards through these sessions.
The next step after minis, this training is available to all members able to jump 40cm unassisted and confidently (or lowest height stated), alongside dressage sessions for those looking to improve their flatwork and ride dressage tests confidently.
For Seniors <<(14 years and above or jumping 90cm confidently)>> we hold training clinics at different venues in the area, with specialised instructors.
These are run alongside the above training sessions, at a variety of venues and catering to all ages.<br />
