Arena Eventing Report<\/h2>\n

We had members competing in the 70, 80 and 90cm classes at the Arena Eventing Spring Festival qualifier last Sunday.\u00a0 This is always a fun day, with a mix of show jumps and cross country style fences in the outdoor school, and had its many thrills and spills along the way!<\/p>\n

In the 70cm we had Zoe, Lucy, Nicole, Chloe, Frank and Euan flying the flag for Flamstead, and although there were unfortunately no qualifications, there were some fantastic rounds ridden, particular shout out to Zoe who rode a lovely clear, just had a few unfortunate time faults to add to her score.\u00a0 Chloe also had a fantastic ride on her friend, Joe Parr’s pony.<\/div>\n

The 80cm class was a very exciting one, with Sienna, Zoe, Jemima H, Chloe, Leila and Frank we had\u00a0another 2 teams entered.\u00a0 For this competition there are only 3 in a team, meaning every score counts, so the pressure\u00a0is on.\u00a0 Sienna produced a beautiful clear and the only competitor to have no time faults, which put her in the lead and she stayed there to take the win!\u00a0 Team mates Zoe and Jemima H also went clear, with only a few time penalties landing them in 9th and 12th place.\u00a0 These fantastic scores meant that as a team they were miles ahead of all the other\u00a0teams, so secured their spot at the Spring Festival in March! Well done girls!<\/div>\n

Leila was the only rider who took on the 80 and the 90, and flew round for a clear in both, and with only a few time penalties in each she landed herself a 5th in the 80 and 4th in the 90cm, bagging her a Spring Festival qualification!\u00a0 Exciting things to come for this pair in the future I think!<\/div>\n

We are looking forward to seeing them at the Spring Festival at the end of March which is at Addington, save the date if you would like to come and watch and support them then!<\/div>\n
