\ud83c\udfc6\u00a0The Pony Club Regional Grassroots Championships<\/strong>\u00a0\ud83c\udfc6<\/h4>\n

What an incredible three days for our 70cm and 80cm teams competing at the Regional Championships at Kelsall Hill! \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n

It has been an absolute pleasure to watch these young riders throughout the weekend. They have ridden to an incredibly high standard, showing skill, maturity and fantastic team spirit. Every one of them has been a real credit to our branch. \ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n

Saturday \u2013 70cm Show Jumping<\/strong>\u00a0\ud83d\udc0e<\/p>\n

Our teams jumped two fantastic rounds over challenging courses. Four teams finished on clears and went forward to an exciting jump-off!<\/p>\n

The team of\u00a0Megan, Eos, Ella and Catrin<\/strong>\u00a0kept their cool and didn\u2019t let the nerves get to them. They produced spectacular rounds to finish\u00a02nd out of 24 teams<\/strong>\u00a0and take a well-deserved place on the podium! \ud83e\udd48\ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n

Individually,\u00a0Angharad<\/strong>\u00a0finished\u00a02nd<\/strong>\u00a0with a speedy round from over 100 competitors, with\u00a0Ella<\/strong>\u00a0finishing an excellent\u00a07th<\/strong>. \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n

Sunday \u2013 80cm Show Jumping<\/strong>\u00a0\ud83d\udc0e<\/p>\n

Back to Kelsall Hill for day two, with our two 80cm teams jumping two rounds over courses that required skill, accuracy and careful riding.<\/p>\n

All our members rode fantastically, although unfortunately it was a day where four faults seemed to find most of us!<\/p>\n

The team of\u00a0Alys, Eos, Ella and Angharad<\/strong>\u00a0finished an excellent\u00a05th out of 26 teams<\/strong>, while\u00a0Jonjo, Megan, Catrin and Angharad<\/strong>\u00a0finished\u00a010th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Eos<\/strong>\u00a0had a brilliant day, jumping a double clear and securing her place in the jump-off. What a fantastic achievement! \ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n

Monday \u2013 Eventing<\/strong>\u00a0\ud83c\udfc6\ud83d\udc34<\/p>\n

And then came Monday morning and a third day at Kelsall Hill for the eventing \u2014 and what a day it was for F&D!<\/p>\n

\n\ud83e\udd47\u00a0Angharad<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 1st in her 80cm section
\n\ud83e\udd47\u00a0Megan<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 1st in her 70cm section
\n\ud83c\udfc5\u00a0Zoe<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 5th in her 70cm section<\/p>\n

Three section winners is an amazing achievement, and we couldn\u2019t be prouder of all our riders! \ud83c\udf89<\/p>\n

A special thank you must go to\u00a0Bethan and Louise<\/strong>, who gave up their valuable time to put on the Area, support the competition and help our members today.<\/p>\n

A huge thank you also goes to\u00a0all the parents and past parents<\/strong>\u00a0who came along to help and support over the three days. These events simply wouldn\u2019t happen without you. \ud83d\udc99<\/p>\n

And finally, thank you to\u00a0Meelie and Zoe<\/strong>, who volunteered all day at the show jumping and dressage. Your help was very much appreciated! \ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n

What a weekend for F&D \u2014 congratulations to every single rider who took part. We are incredibly proud of you all! \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n
