Eggesford Triathlon/ Tetrathlon 5th/6th October 2024

At the weekend several of out members headed off to Eggesfords TRI/TET.

With a new Venue last minute due to a broken down pool and a super job by Eggesford pony club to source a new venue at such short notice our members made their way to Crediton for an afternoon of 🏃‍🏊

With great efforts made by everyone results as follows.

Harriet 1st

Fourburrow bumblebees, with Emily, Skye and Harriet came 13th

and the Fourburrow Hornets with Jacky, Rosie, Martha and Toby came 14th.

Three of them then went to Southcott on Sunday for the riding phase.

Jackie coming home with a 1400 ride score leaving her in 2nd place

Rosie finishing in 9th and Martha finishing in 10th

with the team of 3 finishing in 7th.

What a super end to the Tetrathlon season, well done to everyone, its been great to see so many lovely new faces giving this super sport a go. Onto the Winter Tri season now starting with Spooner and West Dartmoor at Mount Kelly college at the end of the month.
