Pony Club National Championships roundup- August 2026

What a week at the championships FBH have had, with members qualifying for every discipline. Rosie, Martha, Catherine, Eliza, Nat, Milly, Summer, Georgie, Lilac and Emily flew the Fourburrow flag and made the trip to Warwickshire to compete in a range of disciplines.

Rosie – Took a step up this year at championship level in the tetrathalon finishing with a very good socre of 1290!!
Martha – Had 2 top 10 placings in her dressage classes!!
Eliza – Made her debut at championship level.

Georgie, Lilac & Emily – Took part in the new horse and pony care competition. They held their own in the open section! Even being the youngest team there by far!

Well done girls for representing the branch in such a positive way, we are all super proud of you all.

One of the many great aspects of the Pony Club is to educate, train and introduce our members and top riders of the future to the demands of competition at various level. Every combination should be proud of themselves for qualifying and getting to Nationals regardless of results. Every day is a learning day, championships are more technically challenging and are up to height.

This week brings us to the other end of the championship series with the mini champs at Bicton starting with our tiniest riders in the 40cm! Following the Minis is yet another championship! Regionals! This is also at Bicton!

If you would like to know more about any of the championships and how to qualify and tale part please get in touch. We have a winter of rallies and qualifiers to get ahead of the game for next summer!!
