Regional Championships- 29th and 30th August 2026

Saturday was dressage and show jumping day. The weather was not kind, and the mud made a reappearance just in time for dressage!

The 70 showjumping team of Jennifer, Tallula, Harriet, and Yolanda had some fantastic clear rounds leaving them in equal 1st! The whole team had to jump off (their 3rd round of jumping!) and they pulled it out of the bag beating the next team by 20 seconds! Jennifer also came 3rd individually in a large competitive class.

The 80 showjumping team of Keira, Jennifer, Milly, and Emily were up next, some more super rounds leaving them in 5th place! Imogen C was also competing in the 80 class with just a couple of unlucky poles.

Jennifer also competed Belle in the 70 and 80 class and was awarded with a surprise presentation of a horsemanship award at the prize giving: very well deserved.

Several members competed in the dressage, with Talula just missing out on a place in the PC70, and Tilda just missing out on a place in the PC80. Imogen and Tallula came 9th in their sections in the PC 80, Georgie had an unfortunate time in her test and missed out on the placings.

Sunday was eventing day.

Yolanda finished in 10th place in her section in the 70, Tallula in 8th in her section. Tilda was 6th in the 70+

Milly just missed out on placings in her section in the 80 after an eventful cross country round and Chloe finished in a brilliant 8th place with a double clear in her section.

Well done to all members competing, the weather was changeable, but spirits remained high in camp Four Burrow (in a sheltered corner of the field!)
