Area 16 Winter Triathlon Qualifier- 8th February 2026

Eight of our members represented our branch at the Area 16 winter triathlon qualifier to gain entry to the final at Grantham. The open, junior and minimus sections are all qualifying classes.

The top two qualify in each class- although this can appear complicated as the qualification will pass down if those people have already qualified or if they are from an area other than area 16.

Our members all tried very hard and returned very respectable scores. They have been training hard- and that is no mean feet with the winter weather and the dark evenings.

Well done to all of you.

Toby 6th, with a PB swim and earning qualification to the national final.

Open girls-

Rosie 6th, with a PB swim

Martha 8th.
