National Championships- Eventing round up- 17th August 2024

The final event! On Friday, Tommy Jacky and me began our eventing competition with dressage and showjumping! Tommy scored a fabulous 32, and Jacky and myself sat on 40 & 40.8. Jacky followed this up with a clear showjumping round a testing track, I had an unfortunate 4fts and Tommy had an unlucky 8fts. After competing that day we checked out cross-country course – as you can see there was a lot to jump! There were lots of technical questions, as well as some rider frighteners. We also got to go and cheer on Tilda, Emily and Lilac in their presentation, who did a fantastic job in the H&P care competition! Saturday was XC day! Jacky set off first and returned home clear with a couple of speeding penalties moving her up to 16th in her section. Tommy then went out and jumped a fab clear with no time penalties to move up to 18th individually in his section, I then followed just adding 0.4 time penalties for being one second over taking me up to 17th. This was a great result with us all being placed individually and the team finishing in the placings with 10th/34 teams! As this is the final update I just want to say Thankyou to everybody who helped us up there, and everyone at home who cheered us on and supported us! We have the most amazing pony club and hopefully we can do it all again next year
