Showjumping Results- 27th December 2024

We’ve had a great day at our Showjumping competition including qualifiers for mini-champs. Some great riding from our members with the following placings.

40cm assisted-

Isla H- 2nd and qualifying for individual mini-champs

Annalea- 3rd and qualifying for individual mini-champs

Isla T- 4th

Skye- 5th

Lexie- 6th

Team results were

1st Four Burrow Wasps- (Isla H, Annalea and Lexie) who qualify for mini-champs

2nd Four Burrow Tigers- Skye, Lyra, Isla T and Delia

40cm unassisted-

Jill- 2nd and qualifying for individual for mini-champs

Annalea- 5th

Skye- 6th

Team results were

1st Four Burrow Leopards (Skye, Lyra, Jill and Annalea) who qualify for mini-champs

50cm-

Pearl- 3rd and qualifying as an individual for mini-champs

Team results were

2nd- Four Burrow Panthers (Pearl, Imogen C, Laila and Harriet)

3rd- Four Burrow Hornets (Toby, Lexie, Skye and Harriet)

5th- Four Burrow Bumblebees (Amelie, Chloe and Jill)

60cm-

Pearl- 3rd and qualifying as an individual for mini-champs

2nd- Four Burrow Fireflys- (Imogen C, Harriet, Chloe and Amelie)

Well done to everyone competing. There was some great riding which was very well thought out and considered. Some members were stepping up a height for the first time- well done to you all.

A very big thank you to everyone who has helped today, some members of our committee, and a large contingent of members doing their Young Equestrian Leadership Awards (YELA).

The YELA members have been pushing themselves out of their comfort zones and learning new things- ranging from poo-picking, pole picking, tack checking, stewarding, scoring and commentating.

Thank you to Rosie for doing the majority of the organising of this competition as part of her silver YELA award- you’ve done very well- and I look forward to the tidying up of all the equipment from the van tomorrow!
