Spooners and West Dartmoor Triathlon- 19th October 2025

Spooners & West Dartmoor Triathlon 

Held at Mount Kelly College 

Fourburrow sent up 13 members making up 4 mixed teams to compete as part of the winter tri series. The teams were made up as follows:

Even the rain didn’t dampen spirits as we arrived at Mount Kelly, anyone who has been knows this school has a very ‘Hogworts’ feel about it, nearly magical! 🧙‍♂️

Today saw some super impressive scores coming up for FBH including…

Rosie, Edward & Harriet scoring an incredible 900!

Georgie & Skye both getting above the 800 mark!

The swimming followed, the pool at Mount kelly is a hard pool to swim in. With no overflow there is alot of resistance to swim against. That didnt stop FBH with another fantastic set of scores…

Georgie and Toby both getting swim scores over 1000!

Josh, Lilia, Edward, Harriet all getting over 900 swim scores!

Despite the rain being forecast to blow over it definitely stayed for most of the afternoon, a small dry patch for the tadpoles and beanies.☔️ the grass track was wet and the track was getting muddy in places as the day went on.

FBH carried on going through the rain to get another set of fab scores on the scoreboard…

First time in Junior boys for Toby and first time in open girls for Rosie. 

It was great to see some new members taking part today,  Emily and Sophia are both in Beanies and put their best efforts in today, with their attitudes they will be great assests to our Tet/Tri squad.

Tet and Triathlons are great fun weather you are a seasoned triathlete or a total beginner there is something for everyone and its a fantastic way to keep fit and set goals.
