This years fun non-mounted mini badge series will be focusing on achieving the blue cross equine welfare badge. This is a special badge which is awarded once they have achieved 10 specific badges. These session are open to all, they are fun, involve a lot of games, laughs as well as learning and bonus you DO NOT need to bring ponies!! The only requirement is a sense of humour and a willingness to have fun! If any child requires any adjustments or help in anyway please let me know.

The sessions will be held at Fiona’s house Twizziegill farm Easington TS134UH and will start at 6 finishing around 7.30/8.

Friday May 22nd 6pm Pony Health and Basic needs of ponies, summer and winter.

Friday June 19th 6pm tack cleaning and points of tack

Friday 3rd July 6pm leading and handling and feed your pony

Friday 11th September 6pm mucking out and horse clothing

Friday 16th October 6pm care of the foot and pony behaviour

If needed Friday 13th November 6pm mop up session to cover badges missed – kids will need to have attended all but ONE session to be able to do this session.

For those children who have the mini badges then Kathryn will support those children to work towards their achievement badge.
