Welcome back – again! Now that restrictions are easing we are excited to be welcoming old and new members to Heart of England Pony Club. We have had 2 successful fun Easter rallies to get us back into the swing of things. Don’t forget Covid restrictions remain in place and we thank all our parents and members for following these. New dates are posted on the branch programme page as well as our Facebook page. There’s something for everyone – If you are interested in representing the club at area level then you must have attended at least 3 rallies and be out competing regularly at the level you wish to ride at – there will be rallies specifically for area training as well as those open to everyone. We can’t wait to see you all at our rallies- please book in early and before the closing date to allow us allocate times and instructors.  Looking forward to seeing y0u all soon.

Important information

Good morning and thank you all for your patience during these unprecedented times. We are all having to adjust to a new ‘normal’ and in terms of pony club we are now in a position to offer more ‘face to face’ activities. Thank you to all of you who have engaged with the online learning we have been posting and huge thanks to Sue Hall for keeping you busy with your ponies over lockdown. However the news you have all been waiting for is that we can now safely resume rallies! There will of course need to be precautions in place and the details of these will be sent out when you book in. Please can I ask that you read these and adhere to them at all times during the rallies. We are only able to host rallies if everyone plays their part. More details will follow but put these dates in your diary!

Wednesday 29th July – evening rally from 5pm @ HFM
Tuesday 4th August – evening badge rally @ HFM
Thursday 6th August – XC rally @ Lyneham
Tuesday 11th – Thursday 13th August – camp
times will be allocated when we know numbers so please book in early so we can book instructors in plenty of time and accommodate all of those members wishing to book in
rallies will be added to unity shortly so watch this space.
Again thank you for your patience I’m looking forward to seeing you all very soon – stay safe and happy riding

Taking place at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday 15th October, this is a chance for members of the Pony Club to learn more about the exciting equestrian sport of horseracing, earn their ‘Horseracing Badge’ and enjoy a fun afternoon out with friends from the Pony Club and beyond.

‘The Fan Zone’ will be jam-packed full of fun activities and competitions for you to take part in throughout the afternoon, as well as providing a base from which you can enjoy the racing. You will also be able to learn all about the ways that you can get involved in horseracing in the future.
