2024 Main and Regional Championships Round Up

What a great Main Championships and Regional Championships we have had this year. We are one of the smallest branches across Area 7 and we are very proud that we hold our own against the biggest clubs.

This doesn’t happen by luck or chance but by hard work, sheer determination plus some blood, sweat and tears thrown in for good measure! It doesn’t always go right but when it does what a feeling it is. 🎉🥳

There aren’t enough words to thank our coach Sally Victoria Baker for all her hard work, dedication and experience in training, coaching and preparing our members for these events.

We had more members than ever qualify for both the Main Champs and Regionals and it is an achievement in itself just to get there

90 cm Showjumping team 34th out of 67 teams 🏵️

Amy – although it wasn’t your day we are incredibly proud of your achievment

Daisy – placed 4th with 73.57% 🏵️🎶

Musical Ride Team – fabulous 7th place 🏵️💃🎶

Regionals

Grace (in her first regional champs) 16th in 70 dressage

Lucie 6th 🏵️in the 80 dressage

Isla – also in the 80 and although out of the placings on the day we are incredibly proud of your achievement

Showjumping

For Evie, Melissa and Lucy it was their first champs and Isla’s first with Ralph and a fantastic first place for Evie

80 cm

Both girls led from the start and finished on their dressage scores – that’s about as perfect as you can get!

We are a very proud committee. It’s not about the rosettes (but they’re lovely) but the team spirit, friendships and most of all the ponies!
