Heythrop Hunt | Area 9

The Heythrop Hunt Branch of The Pony Club

The Heythrop Hunt Pony Club is one of 20 branches that make up the Pony Club Area 9 – also known as the Three Counties.  We are centred around Chipping Norton, Burford and Stow on the Wold.  We are one of the largest Pony Clubs in the country with a membership of over 250 ranging in age from 2 years to 24 years.

Our branch is headed by our Joint District Commissioners, Nicky Browne and Kate Campion.  There is a wonderful and hardworking team of volunteers who form the committee and organise an exciting programme of mounted and unmounted activities throughout the year.

We cater for all abilities.  Our aim is to provide opportunities for all our members, whether it be making friends and having fun through our camps, doing tests, to those who wish to be on teams, representing the branch at local, area and at the Pony Club Championships in any discipline.  Our teams have represented our Branch in Dressage, Eventing, Show-jumping, Polo and Tetrathlon.  You do not have to want to compete to enjoy the activities that are on offer.

Members benefit from being taught by first class instructors at both mounted and unmounted rallies, training and at our 3 Summer camps.

We are very happy to welcome new members and you can join throughout the year.

If you would like further information about this branch, please contact our Joint District Commissioners.
