RALLIES

Rallies

A mix of dismounted, half- and full- day mounted rallies are held by the Branch during the year.  All rallies are advertised on the Fixture List and members are advised by email when they are open for booking via the Events Booking page on here. Strict time deadlines for booking on to rallies apply so that members can be organised into ride groups with enough instructors to make the day safe and instructive for everyone.

Dismounted Rallies are usually held in the winter time, in a hall without ponies, for training in horse and pony care and badge work.

Mounted Rallies take place at Dunaincroy when weather and ground conditions permit, and offer members mounted instruction in flatwork, games, jumping and cross country and dismounted instruction in horse and pony care and badge work.

Timetable Mounted Rallies follow the same timings and to see more – Timetable page 2019

What to Wear Rider safety is the most important factor for what members should wear to Pony Club.  All members riding at Pony Club must wear a hat to the current approved standard for Pony Club. Click here to find out more
