Area Eventing, Dressage and Showjumping<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Area Training 2021\/22 \u2013 Over the winter we will be doing some training for those who are aiming to compete in the UK next summer in any of the Pony Club Area Competitions.\u00a0 During June and July 2022, there will hopefully be Area competitions for Dressage, Show Jumping, Tetrathlon & Eventing, and these training sessions are aimed to help you prepare for these events.\u00a0 We are aiming to hold the training regularly at and Kennaa on a Wednesday evening starting in November.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>The Area competitions run at the following levels \u2013\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0grassroots \u2013 80cm, novice \u2013 90\/95cm, intermediate \u2013 100\/105cm and open 110\/115cm<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>In order to compete off Island on behalf of the IOM Pony Club next summer, the combination of horse and rider must have attended three rallies (excluding team practices and training sessions) since the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0July 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>In order to be eligible to attend the training sessions over the winter members must be competing regularly at the level they wish to be considered for (ideally a level higher).\u00a0 We aim to alternate the disciplines each time and members can choose which they wish to attend.\u00a0 The training sessions are not lessons, Clare will be there to assist and train members, but they are not designed for ironing out problems, and are not for the nervous and novice.<\/em><\/p>\n
