Hi Everyone,

We are delighted to be hosting our annual Spooktacular FUN day at Moyallon and are very much looking forward to seeing you there. Please remember this is a FUN day and some of the groups are mixed but I have tried to keep friends and family together as much as possible.

Please ensure you arrive early on Thursday morning, ready to start at 10am sharp. Groups and timetables are below;

We have an amazing line up of instructors and a busy schedule so everyone should go home happy. All parents have a role below so please ensure you look at the bottom of this page for your assigned duty. Any issues drop me an email on iveagh@pcuk.org.

Reminder – No sibling/ leader should be any arena assisting if they are under 16 years of age. Anyone leading must be 16+. Yela volunteers must have correct footwear and a hat if assisting an instructor.

Please note our local chip van will be onsite.

In the event of any issues arising over the course of camp that you wish to escalate, please do so by speaking to Iveagh Safe guarding officer Lisa Trainor.

Tack & Turnout:

All children should be turned out wearing their jackets, shirt & tie for morning ride. Sweaters and polo shirt can be work in the afternoon. Long hair must be tied up and a hair net worn.

Ponies must be clean & tidy, clean well fitting tack, hoofs oiled. Brown/ white saddle cloths or numnahs. No bright colours.

Plaiting ponies is optional.

GUIDELINES

Litter Bags and Litter Picking –    Please bring litter bags and place on every car/ lorry windscreen before lunch.   Throughout the day do a lap and lift any loose litter.    At end of day please take home any litter you have collected.    

Toilets –    Please check toilets at start of camp morning and make sure there is toilet roll, soap and hand towels.   Please check throughout the day and mop floor if it is wet or slippy.   At end of day please mop floor and refill everything ready for next day.    

Kitchen Cleaning –    Please check kitchen is kept clean and tidy throughout the day. Check floor is clean and dry.   After lunch please tidy up and wash any utensils or equipment used to prepare instructors lunch.   Please mop floor and tidy benches at end of day.   Empty bins and leave rubbish outside to be taken home.    

Arena Clean up –    Please lift any poo throughout the day and assist instructors to add or remove equipment.   At end of day check arenas are clean and tidy.    

Riders Lunches & Tea –    All ingredients will be in kitchen to prepare and cook meals.   Preheat ovens well in advance as they are slow at heating up.   Please ensure a responsible adult serves the food to all members.      

Instructor Lunches –    Please ensure you preheat ovens early as they can be slow to warm up.   Please set up outside table ready to serve instructors at the correct time.   Please clear table at end and leave clean      

End of Day Litter –   Please ensure you collect any remaining litter left and take home.   This will include kitchen waste bags and bathroom bin bags.
