Each Branch covers a geographical area and is organised using the Purposes and the Rules of The Pony Club. Every Branch is led by a District Commissioner helped by a Committee of people assigned to specific roles to support the running of the Branch. Please note every member of the Branch Committee is a volunteer, dedicating spare time to support every Member.

Health and Safety Officer and Social Media coordinator
The branch Health and Safety Officer ensures a safe environment for all activities by developing and implementing safety policies, advising on practices, conducting inspections, and managing risk assessments, accidents, and relevant documentation.  Here’s a more detailed breakdown of the role: Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Safety Policies and Procedures: The officer is responsible for creating and updating safety protocols, ensuring they align with Pony Club guidelines and relevant legislation.  Advise and Train Staff and Volunteers: They provide guidance and training on health and safety practices, ensuring everyone understands their responsibilities and how to mitigate risks.  Conduct Regular Inspections: The officer will regularly inspect facilities, equipment, and grounds to identify potential hazards and ensure they are addressed.  Perform Risk Assessments: They will conduct thorough risk assessments for all activities and events, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate control measures.  Investigate and Record Accidents: In the event of an accident, the officer will investigate the incident, record details, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.  Maintain Records and Documentation: The officer will keep accurate records of inspections, risk assessments, accident reports, and training records.
