NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS DRESSAGE AND SHOW JUMPING

Miri and Zoe are safely home after a fabulous couple of days at the 2026 JCB Pony Club National Championships at Offchurch Bury, with both girls having contested the PC90 Dressage Championship, and Miri the PC90 Show Jumping Championship.

This was Zoe and Badger’s first ever stay-away show experience, and for a 6yo pony he did amazingly well in the uniquely buzzy atmosphere, pulling off a strong dressage score despite a slight error of course, and demonstrating great potential for coming back to have another go in 2027!

Miri and Maddie also had a solid dressage test, followed the next day by two PC90 show jumping rounds over a full-up Championship course with lots of fillers and water tray, dropping just 3 poles in 2 rounds over a course that yielded very few clear rounds among the 80+ entrants.

Both girls were thrilled to be representing the Branch at National level, and had a fantastic time together enjoying the atmosphere at the Championships. They even swapped ponies for a hack on the Tuesday evening!

We are so proud of Miri and Zoe for qualifying, for making the trip up to the Championships, and for acquitting themselves so well – both girls train really hard and it’s great to see their efforts (and those of their very supportive Pony Club mums) rewarded.

We are also very jealous of their lovely blue Championship 1/4 zip tops!
