Well done to all our prize winners in our winter points SJ league. Lexi Lane  and Tia were the winners of the Cross poles and straights with Grace Frame on Mini Malarkey runners up. Brooke Sharkey and Baillie were  our winners in the 5ocm and above section.

L&U had a great day out at the Area Horse & Pony Competition. The L&U Mini Major team of Meg, Poppy and Abbie H had an amazing day winning the Mini comp earning very high marks in bandaging, grooming and jump building. The L&U Mini Mini team of Hannah, Evie & Scout (with Abbey as an extra helper) came 4th showing great expertise in the leading section despite the horse being considerably larger than any of their ponies!

The L&U Junior team of Kayleigh, Carrie and Emily C ran HC as they had one senior member- they would have been placed 5th in a very competitive section. They scored the highest marks in the feeding section and the leading section where they had to lead a horse as if they were on the road. Peebles & Tweeddale Pony Club, the organising branch, very kindly awarded them special rosettes.

All the teams had a great day in the sunshine- the camaraderie across the age groups is brilliant with all supporting each other. Well done girls- a credit to the club!

Well done to our senior games team, Brooke,Emily, Kayleigh, Ellie and Katie who finished third at Morpeth’s competition at the weekend good start to the year.

Well done to our members Kayleigh Devine, Ellie Davidson and Katie Frame on a great effort at the Scottish Mounted Games Trial.

We have 2 members going forward to represent their country at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in May.

Katie in the team and Ellie as reserve. Good Luck .
