Rallies

Summer & Evening rallies

Summer rallies are held at the Longshot Lanark and various locations and centers. They generally start at 10am with a lesson. The members are split into groups by, as far as possible, age and ability.  They receive a lesson by a qualified instructor on a variety of disciplines. After lunch, and a well earned rest for the ponies, the members take part in showjumping, mounted games or a other activity decided by the committee.

We also organise discipline specific rallies for example XC rallies, dressage, SJ etc which allow those members who would like to represent the club in Area and team competition to obtain further tuition in these areas. They may take the form of evening rallies during the week starting at 6pm. Members will be split into groups by age and ability and will receive a lesson from a qualified instructor for 1 hour.

All day and evening rallies are for everyone, Minis, Juniors and Seniors.

You must book in and pay for each rally in advance. This allows us time to book enough instructors etc.  If you have booked a rally and need to cancel please give 48hrs  notice to allow the rides to be rearranged no refund will be given for cancellations with less than 48hrs hours notice unless the space can be filled .

Details of ride groups and rally activities will be confirmed the week prior to the rally.
