This page shows how to qualify to The Pony Club Championships in different sports and at different levels. If you have any further questions please get in touch with that sports coordinator, their details can be found on the Contact Us page.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whatever the sport or level you’d like to compete in we encourage all our members to have a go at Area competitions. We’ve had many members compete at lots of different Championships, it could be you next!<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\n\n\r\n

Depending on the class you enter at Areas you have the opportunity to qualify for either The Pony Club Regional Championship or The Pony Club National Championship.<\/p>\n

There are no Area competitions for Endurance. Instead you can qualify for The Pony Club Endurance Championship by completing two qualification rides.<\/p>\n

Apart from the friendly Novice class, all classes have the opportunity to qualify from Areas to their Zone Final competition. From their Zone Final, Junior and Pairs competitors can qualify for The Pony Club National Championship. The winning Senior Prince Philip Cup team gets to compete at The Horse Of The Year Show. Some Senior teams will qualify from their Zone Final to The Pony Club National Championships into either the Runners-up competition or the Intermediate Championship. The teams placed 1st and 2nd in the Runners-up competition will also qualify to compete at The Horse Of The Year Show.<\/p>\n

There are no Area competitions for Polo. Pony Club Polo teams need take part in three Qualifier tournaments to qualify for The Pony Club Polo Championships.<\/p>\n

The Polocrosse Championships are held at The Pony Club National Championships are open to any Pony Club Branch or Centre within the UK. Any Branch or mixed team can enter.<\/p>\n
