Its a pleasure to announce our 2019 Camping Camp at Gadbury for members 10-14 yrs who are riding at D+ level or above and who are capable of independently looking after their pony. We have had great fun running camping camp for the last 4 years but for the Holmes family this will be our last one!
Camping Camp runs from 9,30 (approx) on Tuesday to 4.30 (approx) on Thursday. Ponies and members (with a responsible adult) can stay at Gadbury. The ponies/horses stay in electric fence pens. You must supply your own fencing systems. If ponies are not suitable for penning you can take them home at end of each day and bring back following morning. Members must provide their own tents, lorries or trailers to sleep in please note there are loos but there are no shower facilities on site.
Parents are responsible for their children at night from after supper (8pm). If you are not staying with your child you must arrange with another parent to be responsible for that member overnight, a ratio of 1 adult to 4 children must be respected.
The cost of camp this year will be £110. Applications for camping camp need to be placed online via the booking system by Monday 1st July 2019, no payment will be required at this time.. Application does not guarantee a place. We can accommodate up to 30 members for camping camp, if we are oversubscribed we will have hold a waiting list. Members must be 10 yrs old and have completed school year 5 and must be riding at D+ level or above and must be capable of independently looking after their pony. Confirmation of places will be sent out on or before 6th July. On confirmation of your place unity will be re-opened so that you can pay a deposit of £30 with the remaining £75 paid before 19th July or you can choose to pay the full amount before 19th July. Payments will be taken via paypal but if you prefer you can send a cheque to Simon Holmes made payable to Ledbury Hunt Pony Club and sent to Springfield, Anthony's Cross, Newent GL18 1JQ.
