This scheme starts with a assessment day held in our area . The best children at the Assessment days are invited to a 2 day camp.  The top riders at the camp will be invited to join a PC show jumping squad.

SHOW JUMPING TRAINING We hold regular show jumping lessons in our normal Tuesday night rallies as well as regular Team Training Sessions.

Llangeinor have produced some extremely professional Show Jumpers. Josh Rees and Steph Brownbill have both represented Wales in the junior teams and many of our members have qualified for the Dengie show jumping championships and the Pony Club Championships, with Sam Tudor winning the qualifying rounds at Crickhowell  in 2014 and Lotti Tudor came 2nd in 2015

Llangeinor Pony Club is always extremely well represented in all the local team jumping competitions at Suunybank equestrian centre and the more experienced of these riders then form teams to compete for our Pony Club at the Area qualifiers. if they qualify they then compete at the Pony Club national championships.

PONY CLUB DENGIE SHOW JUMPING

The Dengie winter Show jumping competition has 3 rounds. Sunnybank run the first two rounds on the same days as their normal show jumping competitions.

The first round is a two phase course (so you carry straight on into the times section if you go clear in the first part of the course). Course height is 90cm (3′) and maximum width of oxer fences is 90cm (3′).

You can have several goes at the first qualifying rounds on the various dates.

The first 4 in each competition go through to the 2nd round (which is our Area finals). This is also being held at Sunnybank on 9th March 2014.

If you get through the Area finals you qualify for the Pony Club national finals. The eligibility rules are all on the main website (just google pony club Dengie rules).

So what are you waiting for – let’s get jumping!!
