Hat tagged and hairnet – chinstraps must be done up at all times
Mid Antrim Sweatshirt and/or polo shirt (no hoodies)
Plain white/beige/navy/black jodhpurs (no tracksuit bottoms, jeans, etc.)
Black/brown boots/chaps
Plain navy/black/brown hat cover
Plain white/black/brown/green saddlepad
Plain black/brown/navy gloves
Body protectors and non-fixed peak hats are compulsory for cross-country
Members should be clean, neat and tidy in appearance. Horses and ponies properly groomed and well turned out with clean, correctly fitting sadderly.
The Pony Club expects a good standard and in the interest of safety and well-being of the horses and ponies, all of the above must be observed.
Competition Dress Code
Here is a general guide for what to wear to a PC competition. Additional or different dress requirements for competitions may be specified in the different rulebooks linked below
Beige/white/cream jodphurs
Tweed or dark coloured jacket – in hot weather, you may be allowed to compete without jackets (at the discretion of the judge), but shirt must fully cover your shoulders
Pony Club tie or stock – stock pins horizontally, recommend to remove before cross country
The Pony Club badge on left lapel with test felt underneath
Plain gloves
Short boots and chaps or long riding boots (black/brown)
PC tagged riding hat (non-fixed peak for cross country)
