The Hat Rule is updated each year. Hats should be plain with a navy, black or brown cover, tagged with the PINK Pony Club tag. Please let us know if you have purchased a new hat and we will tag it for you.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"dig-Theme dig-Theme--bright dig-Mode--bright In-Theme-Provider\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/branches.pcuk.org\/newforest\/faqs\/\">Body Protector Rule<\/a>:<\/strong> These are advised to be worn for jumping at all levels, and are compulsory\u00a0for all XC riding, Arena Eventing and Pony Racing whether it be training or competition. For these activities <strong>a Body Protector must meet BETA 2018 Level 3 standard<\/strong> (blue and black label). Please note, f<\/span><span class=\"dig-Theme dig-Theme--bright dig-Mode--bright In-Theme-Provider\">or 2024 \u2013 the rules have changed!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Don&#8217;t forget &#8211; A free <\/strong><strong>TURNOUT BADGE<\/strong> is on offer to those turning up to rallies with excellent turnout &#8211; both horse and rider. Instructors and the DC will award the badge when we see members smartly and correctly turned out; this will run over the next few months. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/branches.pcuk.org\/newforest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/445\/2024\/04\/badge-syllabus-turnout-of-horse-and-rider-v21-2-0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Remind yourself of the key points &#8211; Turnout Badge Syllabus<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>For Competing:<\/h3>\n<p>Please remember when competing at a Pony Club competition, from lead rein to open eventing, you are there representing our branch and an effort for good turnout is always noticed!<\/p>\n<p>For every discipline you&#8217;ll find <a href=\"https:\/\/pcuk.org\/officials\/rulebooks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Dress and Saddlery rules in the appropriate rule book<\/strong><\/a>. Please familiarise yourself with what to wear.<\/p>\n<p>When wearing a jacket at Pony Club activities, the official Pony Club membership badge should be worn on the left lapel, with any test felt earned displayed underneath.<\/p>\n<p>For XC, Endurance, Tetrathlon and Arena Eventing we kindly ask you to purchase a set of NFHPC XC skins &#8211; from <a
