Rallies and Events

A rally is a get-together of members and is open to all, unless otherwise stated on the rally description. They are usually organised in groups according to age and ability,  always have an element of instruction, and cover a wide range of activities. We also have unmounted rallies where members work towards achievement badges – these are often a great way to get to know other members, and for parents to get to know other Mums and Dads as well!

Mounted rallies are organised for general riding skills, Fun and Games leading on to Prince Phillip Cup games, Polocrosse, Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. We try to organise longer  rallies in school holidays where our members can spend several hours revolving around different flatwork and jumping sessions, and stable management too. Training sessions for specific events are by invitation only.

We hold numerous rallies throughout the year at different venues, bearing in mind the large geographical spread of our North Cornwall members! Rallies are advertised on our website and by email to members. They need to be booked at least a week in advance so that we have time to sort the rides into suitable groups, make sure that we have enough instructors booked, and let people know their times – above all so that everyone can make their plans in our very busy lives!
