NCHPC’s Marvellous Minis

Since Camp our youngest members have been having a fantastic time with their ponies. There have been a number of achievements, from gaining confidence in riding, making the transition off the lead rein and competing at their first shows.

At Grafton and Flyford show, Hector won a showjumping class, Evvie won the handy pony trophy and Amelia, Rebecca, Phillipa and Rose were all in the rosettes.

At the Berkeley Hunt Pony Club team showjumping, Theo and Isabella joined with 2 Ledbury members to win the 60cm class.

Over at the West Warwickshire Pony Club show, Bethany, Willa and Rosa were all winners with Joseph and Grace in the rosettes.

Harry competed in his first 40cm Eventer Challenge and won. Not to be outdone, his brother Isaac was in his first un-led Eventer Challenge and also won.

Theo went to the Solihull Riding Club ODE and won his section.

A massive contingent then attended the Cotswold Vale Pony Club Show, where Tessa won the 30cm class and NCHPC members filled the next 4 places. We also had a 1st to 3rd in the 40cm class. So well done to Bethany, Joseph, Ava, Ciara, George, Evvie, Rose, Harry, Isaac, Arlo and Tabitha who all went home with multiple rosettes.

Lastly, Ted has been competing around the country in Lead Rein M&M showing classes trying to obtain elusive tickets for HOYS and LIHS. The classes have a huge number of exhibitors, so to secure two 2nd places is a super result.

NCHPC is delighted to have so many mini members and we look forward to seeing them in our future teams.
