CAMP

Thankfully we have the go ahead to run a daily camp along the same format as last year, please complete and return the  camp  and medical form that we have emailed you and make payment to secure your place.

Please respond to us by the 10th July to secure a place, due to Covid, we don’t have  as much time to plan and commit to the coaches so we really need your help in booking promptly so we know numbers and can plan accordingly

Camp may feel a bit different this year for obvious reasons and we will be issuing Covid guidelines when they are issued, we will ask you to sign to say you have read and can agree to them.  We will need your help to make sure things run smoothly and within guidelines.

For those of you who can help set up the jumps in the camp field next Sunday the 5th please meet at 09.30, we may need some further help just before camp to set up the marquee and dressage arenas and will let you know a date for this and a pre camp briefing which may this year be on line.

Any questions / concerns please contact us, we really value your help and are looking forward to 2020 camp and making memories.

Fingers crossed for good weather.

Many thanks

Sue & Catherine

Senior Camp at Tweseldown  5th – 7th  August with Mark Corbett

Daily camp is a non-residential camp for members and their ponies. Both are ‘delivered’ daily and returning home every night. The camp will be over five days and there will be daily instruction covering stable management, flat work, grid work , how jumping & X Country as well as fun activities and games.

All riding will be on grass and ponies will be tied up at their trailers when not being ridden. Parents do not have to stay for the duration of the days’ activities but will be required to organise themselves into a rota in order to look after the ponies when they are tied up in the trailer park whilst children are involved in unmounted activities.

The final day of camp will be competition day with a prize giving and social.

The numbers attending camp will be capped due to space and instructors available. Members who have attended a minimum of three rallies in 2020, leading up to camp, and have offered their support and assistance at activities held by the Branch will be given priority should camp be over subscribed.
